Airalo is seeking a Staff Data Scientist, Pricing to lead the analytical and ML capability behind pricing decisions across markets in Europe. You will model demand, forecast willingness-to-pay, and build the pricing optimisation layer with appropriate experiments and governance.

You will collaborate with Commercial and Finance to drive margin and revenue, and design robust pricing experiments with strong statistical rigour. The role is fully remote across supported European locations.

Formación

• Advanced degree in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research or equivalent.
• Experience with pricing, monetisation, or marketplace economics that changed decisions.
• Hands-on ML lifecycle experience and deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Build and own demand and elasticity modelling across destination, duration, data tier, and customer segment.
• Develop ML models for demand forecasting and willingness-to-pay, from exploration to production with monitoring.
• Create the optimisation layer to turn forecasts and elasticities into price recommendations under constraints.
• Design pricing experiments with statistical rigour and apply causal methods when randomisation is not possible.
• Define pricing within the data ecosystem, owning price/cost/packaging definitions used across reports and products.
• Partner with Commercial and Finance to connect pricing to margin and revenue opportunities.
• Set analytical standards for pricing and ensure models are validated before live pricing.
