As a Staff Data Analyst supporting the Finance, Legal, and Strategy (FLS) team, you'll transform data into strategic insights, shaping our financial strategy. Your role involves more than analyzing numbers; you'll drive critical business decisions and influence long-term strategies, impacting our financial health and strategic direction.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Business Partnership : Act as a primary data strategist, partnering with top executives like the CFO, providing data-driven guidance on strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
  • Data Analysis : Analyze diverse datasets related to financial performance, legal trends, and strategic initiatives to support informed decision-making.
  • Dashboard Development : Create and evolve real-time, interactive dashboards for stakeholders, ensuring usability and alignment with business needs.
  • Business Reviews and Insight Generation : Oversee insights for company-wide business reviews, guiding analysts to highlight crucial trends.
  • Strategic Planning : Collaborate with leadership to develop data-driven business strategies for growth, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Stakeholder Management : Manage multiple projects, collaborating with the data team for consistent and reliable data practices.
  • Proactive Team Embedding : Act as a strategic data partner across teams, guiding them in using data to solve complex challenges.

Role Requirements :

  • Education & Experience : Quantitative degree (e.g., Applied Math, Econ, Stats, Eng, CS) with at least 7 years of data analytics experience in SaaS, Subscription, or B2B, focusing on Finance, Legal, and Strategy. Experience with executive stakeholders and SaaS financial systems like Salesforce, Chargebee, Adaptive is essential.
  • KPI and Dashboard Expertise : Deep understanding of financial and strategic KPIs and ability to create scalable dashboards.
  • Technical Skills : Advanced SQL and BI/Visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Statistical Knowledge : Proficiency in advanced statistical methods and tools.
  • Analytical Mindset : Curiosity to identify trends and insights.
  • Communication Skills : Ability to simplify complex data and tell compelling stories to stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial Approach : Proactive problem-solver focused on impactful results.
