Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to help build the AI-native data intelligence system for a new context layer. You will design backend services for ingestion, storage, and retrieval, and enable agent-facing workflows in a highly autonomous, cloud-native environment.

This remote-first role offers ownership, rapid iteration, and collaboration across teams, with a compensation range specified for Spain and a focus on scalable SaaS infrastructure and observability.

Formación

• Production-grade software experience.
• Comfort with AI technologies and practical deployments.
• Ability to iterate quickly and handle ambiguity.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and observability tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design and ship core backend services for context ingestion and retrieval.
• Build multi-tenant SaaS foundation with isolation, quotas, and audit logs.
• Develop APIs for agent-facing retrieval workflows and integrations.
• Instrument services with metrics, logs, and traces and improve reliability.
