This role is key for someone who excels in a diverse and creative environment, bringing vibrant art to life in mobile gaming.
At Fortis Games we aspire to make great games that bring people together while redefining how game companies work. We believe in building a sense of belonging through our games, their communities, and how we operate and treat each other. Through our game communities, we will create powerful connections and lasting memories. About the role
As a Staff Game Artist, you will partner closely with the Art Director and play a key role in building a thriving team culture in which artists can flourish.
You'll be a versatile generalist, comfortable navigating the full spectrum of game art, from rapid prototyping to live game development. You'll be a proactive, solution-oriented artist capable of jumping in, being creative, and "putting things together" with a high degree of autonomy.
This role requires a strong focus on UI art, with additional skills in motion design, VFX, and animation being a significant advantage. You'll work cross-functionally, ensuring high-quality, stylized game art assets are created on time and in accordance with the established art style, whether working on a new feature or iterating on an existing one.

We’ve been made aware that some people have been approached by recruiters posing as representatives from Fortis (or third-party recruiters). This is an evolution of the more traditional job scams that have been around for some time. It’s predatory and we’re sorry to anyone who has been the target of this behavior.
Before providing any personal information to anyone posing as a representative of Fortis Games, please make sure that the e-mail was sent from the official fortisgames.com domain ONLY or via Fortis Games recruiters on LinkedIn. We also make use of various reputable third-party recruiting firms with well-established relationships in the industry (if they are not on LinkedIn and not connected to a number of people you know, it’s probably a bad sign).
