Job summary

Talan is a global consulting group specializing in innovation and technology-driven transformation. We are seeking a Java backend engineer to design, develop, and operate backend services using Spring Boot and microservices, deploy on OpenShift, and collaborate with Angular teams on integrated solutions.

You will contribute to CI/CD, REST API design, and scalable architectures within a 100% remote setup, joining a multicultural team on international projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend development with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices-based architectures.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SQL.
• Experience with Docker containers and OpenShift platforms.
• Experience in REST API design and development.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Nice to have: frontend development with Angular; CI/CD practices and GitHub Actions; cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Job Description
