What we look for?

We are seeking a seasoned and highly technical Cloud Linux Engineer to join our Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure SRE Team and contribute to our multi-year cloud transformation program.

This is a 100% remote position for candidates located in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engineer and integrate cloud IaaS solutions and services following industry best practices, emphasizing scalability, fault tolerance, security, observability, and simplicity.
2. Conduct proof of concepts for new cloud IaaS, container services, or third-party cloud tooling.
3. Collaborate with InfoSec to review and enhance security measures.
4. Innovate solutions for complex technical problems involving distributed systems, scalability, and security, translating ideas into designs and implementations.
5. Coordinate with the virtual cloud team to prioritize cloud service enhancements.
6. Assist development teams in their cloud journey, evaluating and implementing new cloud services globally.
7. Optimize device performance and concurrency with developers through appropriate tuning techniques.
8. Identify, automate, and evolve platforms to improve reliability, operability, and developer experience.
9. Engage weekly with new challenges using our advanced technology stack.
10. Employ exceptional problem-solving skills to preemptively address issues affecting business operations.

Mandatory requirements:

1. Experience in infrastructure and cloud IaaS engineering.
2. Cloud Linux experience (primarily RHEL and Ubuntu).
3. High-level Unix/Linux administration skills.

Technical knowledge:

• RHEL 8+ and Ubuntu 20.04+
• Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform
• Git, scripting, Python
• Docker, Terraform
• Metrics and performance analysis, security compliance
• Experience with cloud migration, virtualisation, databases, networks, storage
• Azure DevOps, PaaS, Infra-as-Code, Compliance-as-Code
• Modern engineering practices, CI/CD automation, API services
• Cloud solutions on Azure/AWS, github, Packer, Hashicorp Vault, AKS/EKS
• Cloud transformation experience, certifications (Azure, RHEL, Ubuntu)
• Understanding of AWS and Azure cloud services
• Proficiency in English (B2+)
