KP Group is seeking a Solar O&M Technician to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and prompt troubleshooting of solar installations. The role collaborates with the O&M team to ensure high system reliability and performance across sites.

The ideal candidate has a technical diploma in solar technology or related field and understands PV systems, inverters, and electrical components. On-site work with a strong safety focus is required.

Formación

• Technical diploma or ITI in solar technology, electrical systems or related field.
• Experience in solar O&M or similar role is beneficial.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters and associated electrical components.

Responsabilidades

• Routine inspections and maintenance: perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on solar equipment.
• Troubleshooting and repairs: identify and fix faults in panels, inverters, wiring, and related components.
• Data collection and reporting: use monitoring systems to track performance.
• Emergency response: promptly address system failures to minimise downtime.
• Documentation: keep accurate records of activities, repairs and equipment history.
• Collaboration: communicate with team members and report issues as needed.
• Health and safety: follow safety protocols and promote a safety culture on-site.

As a Solar O&M Technician, working closely with the O&M team, you will conduct routine inspections, execute maintenance procedures, and respond promptly to system issues, contributing to the overall efficiency of solar installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues. Execute routine preventive maintenance procedures on solar equipment.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Identify and troubleshoot faults in solar panels, inverters, wiring, and related components.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Utilize monitoring systems to collect data on system performance.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to system failures or emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and report issues as necessary.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities. Promote and maintain a culture of safety within the team and on-site.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma/ITI or relevant certification in solar technology, electrical systems, or a related field.
• Previous experience in solar O&M or a similar role is beneficial.
