The Resident Technology Services team offers premium long-term professional services to HashiCorp customers. The purpose of the team is to align with the biggest technical transformation initiatives of HashiCorp customers, working as part of the customer technology team from start to finish.

The team is comprised of highly skilled architects and engineers who have played critical roles in technical transformation in other enterprises, either from an individual contributor or technical leadership perspective, and have seen firsthand what success looks like.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

1. Provide guidance on each step of the customer cloud transformation journey related to the HashiCorp product suite.
2. Assist customers in aligning people, processes, and workflows with the Cloud Operating Model.
3. Contribute to building a multicloud adoption framework.
4. Articulate and redefine the cloud consumption model in relation to HashiCorp Tao of workflows.
5. Assist Enterprise CxOs in articulating the business value achieved through the correct cloud consumption model.
6. Help increase developer velocity while satisfying governance, risk, & controls objectives.
7. Communicate the business value of the HashiCorp product suite to customer executives.
8. Explain the technical functionality of HashiCorp products to diverse audiences, from practitioners to executives.
9. Educate and advise customer users on how HashiCorp tools can enable and simplify adoption of the Cloud Operating Model during their cloud transformation journey.
10. Coordinate HashiCorp professional services resources to address specific customer needs during their technical transformation.
11. Educate individual contributors on best practices for system administration, service administration, automation, and observability.
12. Undergo additional background checks and screening performed by the customer.

What You'll Need: Base Level

1. At least 4 years of experience designing and implementing technical systems and services.
2. Intermediate understanding of DevOps processes and automation.
3. Intermediate expertise in cloud and on-premise infrastructure management, application deployment, and security methodologies.
4. Proficiency with one or more tools in the HashiCorp product suite.
5. Familiarity with security and compliance requirements for shared services.
6. Ability to work well both independently and in team environments.
7. A proven track record of driving or assisting with cloud transformation initiatives.
8. Passion for thought leadership in cloud operating models, organizational transformation, cloud operations, or SRE.
9. Experience with cloud maturity assessments, designing and implementing cloud governance, and developing transformation roadmaps.
10. Familiarity with cloud service providers, technical platforms, and shared service management at scale.
11. Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, technical and executive.
12. Skill in explaining complex technical topics simply.
