Key responsibilities

• Define, measure, and own core QA metrics for the organization.
• Act as a technical leader in quality assurance, setting high standards and best practices for product teams.
• Address ambiguous quality issues and complex test scenarios for new and existing products.
• Develop and implement AI-driven automated test strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase test coverage.
• Collaborate with development teams to define quality standards and integrate testing into all stages of product development.
• Use data to assess quality before release and during production.
• Lead parallel testing efforts across multiple QA engineers and ensure smooth integration into product launches.
• Mentor and develop other QA engineers, sharing best practices and fostering growth.
• Influence team strategy and make critical quality-related decisions impacting customer experience.

About the team

Our engineering team is based in Spain and the US.

Basic qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading and executing quality assurance for large, complex projects.
• Experience with AI/ML-driven testing approaches, including automated script generation and defect prediction models.
• Strong skills in designing and implementing automated test frameworks and strategies.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies.
• Proven experience with test automation tools and programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving skills to anticipate and prevent defects.
• Ability to influence quality initiatives across teams.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with developers, SDMs, QA engineers, and product managers.
• Passion for improving engineering efficiency and advocating quality best practices.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree.
