Reports to: Engineering Director

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in the design, calculation, and management of comprehensive air conditioning and classified room projects in the biological research, formulation, and pharmaceutical production fields.
  • Expertise in regulatory and legal knowledge related to the design and construction of clean rooms, including architecture, HVAC, laminar flows, and air treatment.
  • 5-10 years of experience in aseptic production environments within the pharmaceutical industry, with valuable experience working with isolator technology in final filling processes.
  • Experience in projects considering process aspects, production capacity, current regulations, user requirements, installation details, room distribution, and flow plans for materials, personnel, and classified areas.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • English proficiency at minimum B2.2 certification.

Functions:

The Plant Engineer provides engineering support to manufacturing areas, addressing process equipment improvements, technological advances, CAPEX projects, equipment maintenance, cost improvements, safety, and environmental regulations. Demonstrates strong engineering skills, collaboration, and teamwork.

Supports safety initiatives, ensuring risks are controlled. Manages projects from concept to closure, analyzing information, developing solutions, and providing technical support for investigations, modifications, and improvements.

Works with end users to develop system requirements, specifications, and supports factory/site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT). Assists in preparing and reviewing engineering documents, including URS, risk assessments, and safety assessments.

Collaborates with departments such as Production, QA, Validation, Maintenance, Engineering, Safety, and QC laboratories to ensure process integrity. Supports equipment procurement, documentation, and GMP compliance, including start-up activities and quality event management.
