What you'll be doing

As a Senior Software Engineer at auxmoney, you will play a key role in a cross-functional team where your work makes a real impact. You will contribute to meaningful features, help shape scalable architecture and take full ownership from design to deployment.

You will collaborate closely with product and business teams, share your expertise with peers, and continuously raise the bar for code quality and technical excellence. Architecture: fix architecture deficiencies and make appropriate trade-offs.
Technical Competence: considered a technical expert, driving best practices and building consensus.

What you'll bring

Several years of hands‑on backend software development experience with strong proficiency in PHP, focusing on the Symfony framework.
Backend Expertise: Proven track record in designing, building and maintaining robust backend systems in a production environment as well as strong experience in building REST APIs.
Cloud Familiarity: Experience with cloud platforms (ideally AWS) and modern DevOps practices like CI/CD and containerization. Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is highly valued.
Bonus: Familiarity with Kafka or event‑driven architectures is a plus.
Testing: Good knowledge of product quality assurance, taking into account the overall quality strategy, and performing automated testing like unit and integration tests.
Product Mindset: You care about building meaningful features that create value for users, not just writing code.
Team Collaboration: You’re a strong communicator who enjoys working in cross‑functional teams and actively contributes to a positive engineering culture.
Compliance and Security: Ensure adherence to security procedures and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
