rindus Technology S.L. in Málaga (Spain) is hiring a Data Engineer to join a distributed team working with our partner C&A. You will build AI-assisted data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud and Fivetran, and help automate the data lifecycle from ingestion to trusted analytics.

You will work in a modern data stack with AI-enabled tooling, review AI-generated code, and contribute templates and standards. Remote options are available, including home-based, with a preference for hybrid

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Practical experience with dbt Cloud (models, tests, macros, documentation, CI/CD).
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience building and maintaining ELT data pipelines in modern cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Fivetran or similar ELT/ingestion tools.
• Experience developing production-grade end-to-end data pipelines.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD.

About our partner

On behalf of our partner C&A, we are looking for the best talent to join rindus. C&A is a multinational retail clothing brand, with stores in all Europe. We are currently collaborating with their e-commerce division, with the headquarters in Düsseldorf (Germany), you will work in a distributed team from our office in Málaga (Spain) or from home.

What you'll be doing

You will join a modern data engineering initiative focused on building AI-assisted data pipelines using the latest cloud technologies. Rather than traditional data engineering alone, you will leverage AI coding assistants to automate and accelerate the entire data lifecycle, from source ingestion to trusted business-ready data.

Working within a Modern Data Stack (Snowflake, dbt Cloud and Fivetran), you will collaborate in an AI-first engineering environment where connected tools and intelligent workflows help streamline development, testing and deployment.

• Build and maintain data pipelines from source systems into Snowflake.
• Develop dbt models, tests, macros and documentation.
• Design staging, intermediate, mart and semantic data layers.
• Define and implement data contracts.
• Build automated testing and data quality validation.
• Use AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code) to improve engineering productivity.
• Work with MCP-connected tools to orchestrate workflows across the data platform.
• Review, validate and productionize AI-generated code.
• Contribute reusable templates, best practices and engineering standards.

What you'll bring

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake.
• Practical experience with dbt Cloud (models, tests, macros, documentation, CI/CD).
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience building and maintaining ELT data pipelines in modern cloud environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Fivetran or similar ELT/ingestion tools (e.g. Airbyte, Stitch, Matillion).
• Experience developing and maintaining production‑grade end‑to‑end data pipelines.
• Experience with Git‑based development workflows.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Experience implementing:
  • Automated data testing
  • Data documentation
  • Data quality best practices
• Experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar) as part of the software development lifecycle, including reviewing and validating AI‑generated code.
• Experience working with a Modern Data Stack.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude Code.
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Experience with Cursor.
• Experience building or maintaining Semantic Layers (including dbt Semantic Layer).
• Knowledge of Data Contracts.
• Experience with Data Observability tools.
• Experience with Data Quality Frameworks (e.g. Great Expectations, Soda).
• Python for automation.
• API integrations and orchestration.
• Experience with Agentic AI workflows.
