Job Role

We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Software Development for the Invoice By Amazon (IBA) product. IBA provides a single supplier invoice product as the default experience for all Amazon Business (AB) customers in Europe and India, with upcoming expansion in JP and MX. As adoption increases, we face complex architectural challenges. We are focusing on scaling systems and reducing parity gaps to provide a seamless experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the technical direction for 4 teams, leading core product development to create and enhance services, and enable innovation and process improvements.
• Collaborate with other Amazon software development teams to implement changes across systems.
• Lead integrations with ordering systems to ensure proper processing, fulfillment, and returns during checkout.
• Work with stakeholders across diverse domains due to the horizontal nature of the IBA product.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent programs and teams in an Agile environment.
• Experience managing engineers and partnering with product and program management teams.
• Over 10 years of software engineering and product delivery experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C++, C#, or Java.
• Background in algorithms and high-performance distributed systems.
• Strong management, communication, and analytical skills in English; Spanish is not required.
• Experience designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic applications.
