For one of our key clients and world leaders in materials technology, Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer to assist our client in the realization and construction of a megaproject located in Northern Spain.

Once the construction phase begins, full on-site presence will be required, expected to start towards the end of this year or early next year.

Please note that initially, you will work as an independent consultant (autónomo) through CMC, with the client intending to make the role permanent after or within the 2-year contract, based on successful collaboration.

The Sr. Electrical Engineer will be a key leader responsible for drawing and overseeing the electrical design and implementation within a specific area or unit. Main responsibilities include managing EPC contractors through all project phases, assisting as needed, and reporting progress to the project manager.

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing and implementing tailored electrical systems to meet operational process requirements.
2. Addressing and resolving electrical issues during project construction, overseeing subcontractors during startup and commissioning.
3. Approving electrical designs and RFMs for subcontractors, evaluating vendors, and managing technical communications.
4. Collaborating with the Maintenance department to introduce process improvements.
5. Maintaining and updating relevant drawings for seamless project handover.
6. Supporting equipment upgrade projects and proposing improvements for optimization.
