The Alpega Group is looking for Backend Developer (Java). This role will be part of our Carrier Products Team and to be part of the Product development. This role will be based in Sant Cugat, Spain.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• You will participate in all phases of the project, from the business analysis up to the release into production (that includes technical analysis, estimate, development, IT testing and bug fixing).
• Will design, operate and maintain new and current solutions in an Agile environment to continuously deliver value to customers.
• Drive the software quality, security and performance through unit, functional and performance tests.
• Support continuous improvements of the team and the development environment.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

• Good knowledge & experience of at least 3 years of: Java and Spring Framework.
• A proactive person that is looking forward to learning and growing in an international work environment.
• Committed to the quality of the code and products released.
• Experience using Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Have fluent Spanish & English.

Nice to have:

• Jenkins, Maven / Gradle, API Rest.
• Experience / certification on the AWS platform and Integrations.

You will be tested in these competences throughout your selection process.
