About us: We are Aily Labs, a start-up based in Munich and Barcelona. Founded in Spring, we now have a team of motivated ML Engineers, data scientists, and developers. Our mission is to build beautiful Artificial Intelligence products. We are curious, passionate, and relentless in our drive to develop end-to-end products, pushing the boundaries of innovation.

We work on two fronts:

• Our product: used by over + users, simplifying core corporate finance processes with AI.
• Our AI laboratories: developing prototypes for clients' R&D initiatives, testing state-of-the-art approaches to business challenges.

Our data science and ML hub is in Barcelona, with team members working remotely or in-office. We seek passionate data scientists at all seniority levels to join our mission, either remotely or in Barcelona.

In our data science team, we promote a fun, agile environment. We contribute to developing our product's core intelligence, working in Scrum, and developing in Python with open-source ML libraries.

• Understand business requirements and design effective ML solutions.
• Select appropriate technologies (SQL, Python, AWS Lambda, crontab).
• Own the delivery of business requirements.
• Ensure best coding practices and mentor junior data scientists.
• Validate and review pull requests.
• Maintain quality standards for deliverables.
• Collaborate with other teams and define data exchange protocols.
• Lead AI discovery tasks and product development.
• Require an advanced level of English.

Ideal candidate profile:

• 2+ years of experience in data science.
• Experience with data programming languages (Python, R, SQL), including package development and object-oriented programming.
• Bonus: experience with APIs, AWS Lambda, Step Functions.
• Experience with machine learning methodologies (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning).
• Cloud technology experience.
• Teamwork in multidisciplinary and Agile environments.
• Project planning and technical communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.

Additional pluses:

• Master's in Data Science or Machine Learning.
• AWS Cloud experience.
