One of the hottest technological start-ups in the logistics sector, founded in 2015, is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer. The company was founded a few years ago and, since then, has experienced strong growth in five different countries working for top international retailers.

What you will do

Based in Barcelona, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer and will join their platform engineering team.

Your main duties include:

1. Create distributed systems and tooling that are robust, scalable, and resilient.
2. Ensure our cloud infrastructure's performance and efficiency.
3. Gain hands-on experience with cloud native engineering.
4. Analyze cloud services for a deep understanding of low-level details and underlying systems.
5. Engage in continuous R+D in cloud native architecture and services to enable capabilities.
6. Maintain security and scalability by collaborating with the engineering team.

What do we look for?

Someone who holds a degree in Computer Science (or related). Cloud expertise as developer/sysadmin, in GCP. Cloud Native, user services, and event-driven architecture mindset. Experience in programming languages such as Go or Python.

It's a PLUS if you have... Mixed-role experience, any combination of systems/development/security/QA is welcomed!
