Position: SR. CI/CD Engineer with GitLab Experience

Kraken is seeking a Senior CI/CD Engineer to help develop and maintain our CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and refine CI/CD principles to improve efficiency based on stakeholder input.
2. Review, modify, and iteratively improve CI/CD processes.
3. Maintain self-hosted CI/CD tools and platforms.
4. Design, develop, and optimize pipeline configurations.
5. Automate processes, facilitate pipeline commands, and integrate third-party services.
6. Support automation and DevSecOps initiatives, including cloud service automation and infrastructure-as-code.
7. Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, and change management.
8. Automate CI/testing processes completely.
9. Create policies, standards, and governance for CI/CD operations and developer workflows.
10. Onboard, train, and support developers in source control, build automation, and deployment processes.
11. Write build and deployment scripts.
12. Implement GitOps practices.

Skills and Requirements

1. Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps with tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Drone, etc.
2. Knowledge of integrating static and dynamic code security scans into pipelines.
3. Ability to provision, monitor, and scale CI/CD infrastructure via APIs.
4. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures.
5. Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible.
6. Willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
