Sr. Business Development Executive (International)

PagBrasil is looking for a Sr. Business Development Executive to join its international team, operating from its office in Barcelona, Spain.

This person will be responsible for developing new business and building strategic relationships with clients and partners across Europe, with a focus on International Pix, Pix Roaming, and other PagBrasil solutions. This role will be key in expanding the company’s international footprint and will require a high level of autonomy and ownership.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead prospecting and marketing strategies in collaboration with the New Business and Marketing teams.
  • Build and strengthen a strategic network of clients and partners in European markets.
  • Manage qualified inbound and outbound leads.
  • Conduct remote and in-person meetings with prospects and partners to present PagBrasil’s solutions.
  • Plan and carry out business trips to accelerate negotiations and deepen relationships.
  • Represent PagBrasil at industry events and trade shows.
  • Acquire in-depth technical and financial knowledge of the offered solutions.
  • Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on competitor offerings and market strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial conditions aligned with company goals.
  • Support the client onboarding process in partnership with support and operations teams.
  • Keep the CRM (Salesforce) updated with pipeline progress and client interactions.
  • Participate in internal strategic meetings, contributing insights on the European market.
  • Manage the International Pix and Pix Roaming sales funnel with a focus on retention and business co-development.
  • Prepare customized commercial proposals and contracts with a focus on high-value opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English (spoken and written).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, International Relations, or related fields.
  • Experience in inside sales, cold calling, and negotiation techniques.
  • Proven track record in consultative B2B sales.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Residency in Barcelona, Spain.

Nice to have:

  • Ongoing or completed postgraduate studies.
  • Knowledge of financial, regulatory, and payment systems in Brazil and/or Europe.
  • B2B sales experience in the tech industry.
  • Background in the payments or financial solutions market.
  • Experience in roles such as Account Manager, Customer Success, or Business Development.
