We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our backend team and help scale our Laravel-based platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our Laravel-based REST API serving mobile apps and web interfaces.
• Optimize hybrid search architecture combining MySQL and Algolia for sub-second performance.
• Build and enhance queue-based systems for processing 200,000+ daily product updates.
• Implement and maintain Shopify integrations for partner stores.
• Design scalable database solutions handling high-volume transactional data.
• Collaborate on AI-powered product categorization features.
• Develop push notification systems for mobile applications.
• Support multi-language platform functionality (English/Spanish).

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong Laravel framework expertise.
• Proven experience with Algolia or similar search engines (Elasticsearch, Solr).
• Solid MySQL database design and optimization skills.
• Experience with queue systems (Redis, Laravel Queues, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in REST API development and optimization.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and synchronization.
• Understanding of caching strategies and performance optimization.
• Git version control and collaborative development workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Push notification implementation (Firebase, APNs).
• Experience with AI/ML integration for data categorization.
• Multi-tenant application architecture.
• E-commerce platform development.
• Real-time inventory management systems.
• Database indexing and query optimization for large datasets.
• Experience with role-based CMS development.
