Santander is seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate in Structured Receivables to support global structuring and execution of trade receivables transactions. You will work within Santander CIB, based in Madrid/Boadilla, contributing to risk assessment, documentation, and client liaison across multiple geographies.

The role emphasizes deal origination, portfolio structuring, and collaboration with Private Equity clients in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Experience (3 years+) in trade receivables portfolio analysis and credit underwriting.
• Solid understanding of trade credit insurance policies desirable.
• Experience structuring these transactions from an investment banking background.

Responsabilidades

• Structure and execute structured trade receivables deals across geographies with a diversified portfolio.
• Assist in origination of structured trade receivables transactions in different countries.
• Support the risk approval process and negotiate legal documentation with stakeholders.
• Develop new products in a fast-paced trade receivables environment.
• Lead on strategic projects with Private Equity firms, owning origination, structuring and execution.

SCIB s looking for a SR. ANALYST/ASSOCIATE STRUCTURED RECEIVABLES based out of Boadilla (Madrid)

As an Associate , being part of the Global Team , you will be Structuring and Executing structured trade receivables transactions (and other trade- related assets) globally

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

• Structuring and execution of structured trade receivables deals across all geographies with the focus on diversified portfolio of trade receivables using different mechanisms and models to mitigate portfolio risk.
• Business origination: assist in the origination of structured trade receivables transactions across different countries.
• Support on the approval process with the risk department, negotiation of the legal documentation with all the different stakeholders and communication with brokers and insurance companies.
• New product development in a fast path-work environment within our trade receivables franchise.
• Support on strategic projects within the investment franchise by managing dialogue with Private Equity firms, including full ownership on the origination, structuring and execution of the underlying transactions.

Professional Experience

• Experience (3 years+) in trade receivables portfolio analysis, experience in the insurance industry, credit underwriting and a solid understanding of trade credit insurance policies desirable, including documented track record of structuring these transactions from an investment banking background.(Required)

Education

• Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other related degrees (Required)

Languages

• Languages: Spanish, English. (Required)
• Knowledge of a third language will be positively valued (Preferred)

Hard Skills

• Knowledge of trade receivables products, IFRS/US GAAP accounting treatment, insurance market, securitization documentation.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (including cash flow modeling and data analysis) and excellentknowledge of applicable regulatory framework will be valued.
