Santander Corporate & Investment Banking seeks an Analyst Trade Receivables Securitisation based out of Boadilla (Madrid). You will structure securitisations of trade receivables and support across geographies while coordinating with risk, legal, brokers, and investors.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience in trade receivables or related products, a degree in Economics/Finance/Law/Engineering/Mathematics, and fluent English. Spanish knowledge and a third language are welcomed.

• Structuring and execution of securitisations of trade receivables deals across all geographies with focus on diversified portfolio of trade receivables using different mechanisms and models to mitigate portfolio risk.
• Due diligence on underlying portfolios
• Business origination: assist in the origination of transactions across different countries.
• Support with the approval process with risk department, review of the legal documentation and communication with brokers and insurance companies.
• Syndication of trade finance assets to buy-side investors

Professional Experience

• Experience (1-2 years) in trade receivables or other trade finance products (Payables/ ECA/ Documentary Trade/ Inventory) is desirable (Required)

Education

• Economics, Law, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other related degrees. (Required)

Languages

• Fluent English (Required)
• Knowledge of Spanish and a third language will be positively valued (Preferred)

Hard Skills

• Knowledge of trade receivables products, basic accounting standards (Required)
• Familiarity with Rating agency methodologies for the Trade receivables (Required)
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (including cash flow modeling and data analysis) (Required)
• Familiarity with EU banking regulation (Required)
