Jobtailor is seeking an experienced engineering leader to own cross‑platform design system decisions and mentor a multidisciplinary team. You will balance technical debt with user and developer experience while aligning with product goals.

You will drive delivery, embed WCAG/Accessibility standards, and oversee mobile release lifecycles with modern CI/CD workflows in a dynamic, international environment.

Formación

• 3+ years directly managing software engineering teams.
• Ability to lead through influence across cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English and Spanish, able to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Own critical technical decisions for cross-platform design systems.
• Help team evaluate trade-offs and balance technical debt with UX and developer experience.
• Manage, coach and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team through feedback and development plans.
• Drive squad delivery alongside the Product Owner, balancing velocity, quality and business alignment.
• Embed accessibility standards (WCAG, VoiceOver, TalkBack) into component design.
• Oversee mobile release lifecycles and CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane.

• Own critical technical decisions for a cross-platform design system
• Help the team evaluate trade-offs and balance technical debt against user and developer experience
• Manage, coach and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team through ongoing feedback, 1-on-1s and development plans
• Drive squad delivery alongside the Product Owner, balancing velocity, quality and business alignment
• Embed accessibility standards, including WCAG and native iOS/Android frameworks, into component design
• Oversee mobile release lifecycles and CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane

Requirements

• 3+ years directly managing software engineering teams
• Ability to lead through influence
• Solid technical judgment across frontend/mobile technologies: React, React Native, Swift/iOS, Kotlin/Android
• Proven experience making technical decisions in complex environments with no single clear-cut answer
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and business stakeholders
• Fluent English and Spanish
• Practical experience with web/mobile accessibility standards (WCAG, VoiceOver, TalkBack) (nice to have)
• Experience building or maintaining design system component libraries (nice to have)
• Experience in large, multi-team or international/Enterprise environments (nice to have)
