Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a self-organizing team focused on the development and operation of a Data & Analytics Product component. As a Squad Lead, you will play a key role in our transformation journey to become a data-driven company, contributing to the energy transition with Siemens Energy's Data Analytics & AI team.

Responsibilities include:

• Guiding and mentoring a multidisciplinary team towards shared goals, fostering innovation.
• Collaborating with supply chain & procurement to understand their processes.
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to solve business problems and propose operational improvements.
• Ensuring alignment with other squad leads and driving adoption of analytical insights for strategic decisions.
• Managing team resources and customer relationships, providing guidance on tasks.
• Staying updated on data science developments to support data-driven decision-making.
• Maintaining high-quality standards through reviews and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related; Master’s preferred.
• Extensive experience in data science or analytics.
• At least 3+ years in team leadership and project management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and product development skills.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, GPM).
• Industry experience in energy sector or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English; German or other languages are a plus.
