Job Description - This position is 100% Remote

As a Trading Analyst, you will work in a geographically dispersed team setting based out of Malta or Spain with associated teams in the United States. The person in this role will work with a team of Trading Analysts to provide 24/7 customer support to Swish clients. This is a fast-paced environment with experts in sports analytics, data science, data engineering, professional / college sports, and software engineering. This role will be responsible for day-to-day client support during off-peak hours in the USA. The person in this role will routinely be expected to work nights, weekends, and holidays. This position is 100% remote.

Duties:

1. Manage client risk, ensuring the highest margins on Swish products through +EV decisions
2. Manage and oversee depth chart accuracy, making time-sensitive adjustments in both prematch & in-play settings
3. Strategically research & track verified news sources, being the first to uncover important news and understand the overall impact on betting markets
4. Independently analyze betting trends in a scientific process, turning data into quantifiable trading actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree; preference for STEM degree
• Deep understanding of sports betting and odds origination
• Passion and intimate knowledge of the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, and NCAA Basketball + Football
• Strong mathematical, statistical, and / or analytical skills – ability to understand and calculate + convert odds on the fly
• Results driven work ethic – focused on improving process, results and profitability
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and / or holidays

Preferred:

• Passion and intimate knowledge of college football
• An understanding of relational database systems (MySQL)
• Experience working with cross functional teams (Data Science teams a plus)
