Ce rôle permettra de travailler dans un centre de médecine du sport renommé et d'assurer les soins aux athlètes au sein d'un cadre élite. Les candidats doivent avoir une solide expérience en médecine du sport, et les médecins doivent être prêts à se relocaliser au Qatar.

IMS Recruitment is a leading recruiter of medical staff for top Middle East hospitals.

IMS is now seeking experienced CLUB DOCTORS for its hospital client in Qatar .

With staff comprising of leading medical practitioners from around the globe, our prestigious client operates a renowned sports medicine centre in Doha, Qatar.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Sports Medicine Doctor at an elite level with sports clubs and federations throughout Qatar.

The doctor’s role will be to :

• Provide primary care to registered athletes in various sports clubs / federations throughout Qatar.
• Principal responsibility is to ensure the well-being of individual athletes - enabling each to realize his / her full potential.
• Special proficiency in the care of musculoskeletal injuries and medical conditions encountered in sports is necessary.
• Assume responsibility within the team structure for making medical decisions that affect the athlete's safe participation.
• Provide on-field services for the club teams and work in close relationships with the multidisciplinary teams to provide a comprehensive package of care for athletes.
• Diagnose, provide treatment and prevent injuries that occur during sports and physical activities as a medical physician.
• Provide both long-term and immediate supervision for the physical restoration of individuals.

Requirements for the Club Doctors :

• Eligible for a license from the licensing authority in the State of Qatar.
• 7-9 years of experience in sport medicine of which a minimum of 3-5 years in a Club Doctor role
• Doctor must hold an unrestricted medical license and a MD degree.
• Master’s degree in Sports Medicine or formal training in sports medicine (fellowship training, board recognized subspecialty in sports medicine (formerly known as a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine)) or Specialty Board certification in sport medicine.
• Previous experience as a Club / Federation doctor in an elite setting is preferred.
• Very good level of English is essential
• Relocation in Qatar is required.
