Splunk Observability Engineers (Junior & Experienced Levels)

Location : Spain / Portugal - 99% remote but candidates must be willing to attend client sites if required

Contract Type : Permanent

We're hiring two exciting roles within a dynamic observability team, on behalf of a global IT services consultancy :

  • Junior Observability Splunk Engineer

Whether you're starting your journey into observability or bring years of hands-on Splunk, Python, and cloud experience, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Junior Observability Splunk Engineer

  • Support the setup and maintenance of tools like Splunk and ITSI
  • Create and maintain dashboards ensuring data quality
  • Assist users and provide training on observability tools
  • Work with team members to implement new functionalities
  • Help monitor product quality and integration
  • Collaborate closely with your team on technical and functional tasks
  • Build, maintain, and coach on observability tools (Splunk / ITSI)
  • Lead on dashboard setup , data quality, and user adoption
  • Actively discuss and implement new features based on business needs
  • Perform Splunk Admin tasks and coach colleagues
  • Integrate solutions into wider enterprise infrastructure (AWS / Azure)
  • Be a technical ambassador and mentor within the team

Required Skills & Experience

For Junior Role :

  • Some exposure to Splunk
  • Understanding of AWS / Azure
  • Eagerness to learn , collaborate, and grow
  • Splunk Core Certified User

For Experienced Role :

  • 3+ years of hands-on Splunk experience
  • Strong experience with Python, Infra, AWS / Azure
  • Experience with observability tools , user coaching, and integration projects
  • Ability to take ownership of deliverables and lead from the front
  • Splunk Core Certified Power User or Advanced Power User certification

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and user support capabilities
  • Strong collaboration and team ethic
  • Passion for learning and technology
  • Ability to coach and motivate peers (senior level)

Candidates must be fluent in spoken English and be based in Spain or Portugal to be considered for these roles.

  • Annual Salary Review.
