Job Description

Identification:

Job title: Specialist Maintenance Technician - Automation & Robotic Improvement Projects

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain global industrial automation control systems, including NC, PLC, and others, ensuring compliance with performance targets according to European standard EN 15628:2014-10 and Airbus strategy.
  • Ensure availability of industrial means through incident management, updates, modifications, and coordination with external suppliers and manufacturing managers.
  • Perform maintenance tasks categorized by levels (1-5), from simple inspections to complex refurbishments and retrofits.
  • Assess safety risks, develop process improvements, create procedures, and ensure preventive maintenance adherence.
  • Participate in acquisition, validation, and technical documentation of new industrial means.
  • Manage budgets, foster safety culture, and transfer knowledge within the team.
Competences & Knowledge

Must have expertise in PLC, CNC, Robots (Siemens, Beckhoff, Omron, Fanuc), software programming, hardware configuration, and interpretation of technical diagrams. Also, possess knowledge in software languages, measurement systems, reliability methods, databases, AI, cybersecurity, and industrial protocols.

Deliverables & Indicators
  • Monitor technical availability, mean time between failures, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
