About the role

Your mission as Cyber Security Supplier Risk Specialist is to protect Vodafone infrastructure, information and customers. You will be part of the Governance, Risk and Control team. Furthermore, you will be part of a global multinational team of Cyber Security experts passionate about building a secure connected future for customers and society.

As a member of the Cyber team, in the role of Supplier Risk Specialist you will be responsible for the cyber security risk management of the end-to-end lifecycle of Vodafone suppliers from contracts and onboarding to end of life. In this sense, you will lead the following main tasks:

• Owning the relationship with key suppliers to implement, monitor and track the key controls needed to minimize Vodafone risk and perform on-site audits and follow-up of action plans for high-risk suppliers.
• Liaison with suppliers to gather relevant information and establish the level of cyber security risk.
• Support Vodafone Business Owners to help them understand the supplier security process, relevant policies and outputs from the process.
• Tracking and reporting supplier security operational activities.
• Review and validation of security clauses included in supplier contracts.
• Working closely with the rest of Cyber Security as well as Supply Chain Management, Privacy and Corporate Security teams to support overall supplier management and governance.
• Identifying areas of continuous improvement in Vodafone tools and processes both within the Global Supplier Security team and with local stakeholders impacted.
• Taking team responsibility to project manage prioritized initiatives that will deliver an improved outcome for Vodafone, our suppliers, and our customers.
• Lead the supplier management process and tool migration project locally by defining, designing, and executing the associated tasks.

What do we need?

• +4 years’ experience in Cyber Security related positions.
• Knowledge and experience of third-party information security risk management, and general information security background (previous work with ISO27001, NIST, GDPR, SOX, ENS or similar information security standard would be beneficial).
• Analytical skills to assess risks and threats.
• Desirable Contract Management experience.
• Passion for Cyber Security and interest in IT and Network.
• Telecommunications industry experience is an advantage.
• Time-management and organizational skills. Goal-oriented.
• Ability to problem-solve, in tight deadlines, through simplification and innovation with a focus on the outcome, value, and experience. Attention to detail.
• Team working skills in order to collaborate with team members.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to work and drive collaboration inside and outside of Vodafone.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, good in reporting and presenting.
• Excellent level of English both written and spoken.
