We are looking for a

Technical Sales and Product Manager Food Ingredients

You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food Industry.

You will source Food Ingredients from our suppliers

• Sales area: Madrid, center part of Spain
• The position will be office-based in Madrid, with up to 6 days of home office possible
• Main target: visiting clients
• Our client is an international Ingredients distributor
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients or non-FMCG products

The job primarily involves expanding business with existing customers and exploring new markets and customers in Spain's food sector.

Tasks

• Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain
• Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals in all their forms (grains, flours, flakes) is an asset
• Customer & supplier relationship management: establishing and maintaining relationships
• Portfolio management: identifying opportunities and supplementing product offerings
• Market and competition analysis: understanding customer needs, assessing competitors, and identifying opportunities
• Act as Product Manager for various product ranges or suppliers, managing relationships and purchases
• Negotiation with suppliers

Requirements

• Degree in Food Technology or Food Chemistry
• Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• High willingness to travel
• Organized, reliable, positive attitude
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Valid driving license
