A leading company in the food ingredients sector is seeking a Technical Sales and Product Manager to drive sales and manage client relationships in Madrid. The role involves overseeing customer expansion, conducting market analyses, and acting as a Product Manager for various ranges. Ideal candidates will have substantial sales experience in food ingredients, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills.

Formación

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients or non-FMCG products.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).

Job Opportunity: Technical Sales and Product Manager - Food Ingredients

We are looking for a Technical Sales and Product Manager - Food Ingredients.

You will be responsible for selling Food Ingredients to the Food Industry, sourcing from our suppliers, and managing client relationships.

Location & Work Arrangement
  • Sales area: Madrid, central Spain
  • Office-based in Madrid; up to 6 days of home office possible
  • Main activity: visiting clients
  • Our client is an international Ingredients distributor
Experience & Requirements
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients or non-FMCG products
  • Degree in Food Technology or Food Chemistry
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • High willingness to travel
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
  • Valid driving license
Responsibilities
  • Oversee expansion with existing customers and explore new markets in Spain
  • Develop knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals, grains, flours, flakes, etc.
  • Manage customer and supplier relationships
  • Identify opportunities within the portfolio and supplement missing products/services
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify new opportunities
  • Act as Product Manager for various product ranges or suppliers
  • Negotiate with suppliers
