Formación

• At least 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Valid driving license.

We are looking for a

Technical Sales and Product Manager Food Ingredients

You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food Industry

You will source Food Ingredients from our suppliers

• Sales area Madrid, center part of Spain
• The position will be office based in Madrid, with up to 6 days of home office possible
• Main target is visiting clients
• Our client is an international Ingredients distributor
• You should have at least 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients / Not FMCG products

The job primarily involves expanding business with existing customers and exploring new markets and customers in the food sector in Spain.

Tasks

• Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain
• Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals in all their forms, grains, flours, flakes, etc., will be an asset
• Customer & supplier relationship management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers
• Portfolio management: Identifying opportunities and supplementing missing product/solution offerings
• Market / Competition: Conducting market analyses to understand needs, assess competition, and identify new opportunities. Acting as Product Manager for various product ranges or suppliers, managing relationships and purchases.
• Negotiation with suppliers

Requirements

• Degree in Food Technology / Food Chemistry (must have)
• Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• High willingness to travel
• Very organized, reliable, positive attitude
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) (must have)
• Valid driving license (must have)
