A leading company is seeking a Technical Sales and Product Manager in Food Ingredients based in Madrid, responsible for expanding business within the food industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in sales, a degree in Food Technology or Food Chemistry, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, analyzing market needs, and negotiating with suppliers. Flexible working with home office days is possible.

Formación

• At least 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients or non-FMCG products.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driving license required.

Job Description : Technical Sales and Product Manager Food Ingredients

We are looking for a Technical Sales and Product Manager Food Ingredients .

You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food Industry and source Food Ingredients from our suppliers.

Location & Area

• Sales area : Madrid Area, central part of Spain
• Position based in Madrid, with 6 days of home office possible
• Main activity : visiting clients
• Client : an international Ingredients distributor

Experience & Requirements

• At least 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients / non-FMCG products
• Degree in Food Technology / Food Chemistry
• Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• High willingness to travel
• Very organized, reliable, positive attitude
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Valid driving license

Responsibilities

• Oversee business expansion with existing customers and explore new markets in Spain
• Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain
• Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals, grains, flours, flakes, etc., is an asset
• Manage customer and supplier relationships
• Identify opportunities within the product portfolio and develop new offerings
• Conduct market and competition analysis to understand customer needs and identify new opportunities
• Act as Product Manager for various product ranges and suppliers, managing relationships and purchases
• Negotiate with suppliers
