A leading international distributor seeks a Technical Sales and Product Manager for Food Ingredients to enhance business in Spain. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Food Technology, 5+ years of sales experience, and a passion for food product development. This position focuses on client interactions and market exploration while maintaining supplier relationships.

Formación

• At least 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients/non-FMCG products.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Valid driving license and high willingness to travel.

We are looking for a

Technical Sales and Product Manager Food Ingredients

You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food Industry.

You will source Food Ingredients from our suppliers.

• Sales area: Madrid, central Spain
• The position will be office-based in Madrid, with up to 6 days of home office possible
• Main target: visiting clients
• Our client is an international ingredients distributor
• Required: at least 5 years of sales experience in Food Ingredients / non-FMCG products

The job primarily involves expanding business with existing customers and exploring new markets and clients in the Spanish food market.

Tasks

• Knowledge of industrial food customers in Spain
• Technical and commercial knowledge of cereals, grains, flours, flakes, etc., is an asset
• Customer & supplier relationship management: establishing and maintaining relationships
• Portfolio management: identifying opportunities and supplementing product offerings
• Market & competition analysis: understanding needs, assessing competitors, identifying new opportunities, acting as Product Manager for various ranges or suppliers
• Negotiation with suppliers

Requirements

• Degree in Food Technology or Food Chemistry (must have)
• Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• High willingness to travel
• Organized, reliable, positive attitude
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) (must have)
• Valid driving license (must have)
