RINA is currently recruiting for a Spain Non - Food Certification Junior Auditor to join its office in Madrid within the Certification Europe Region Division.

Mission

The role focuses on reviewing various documents, conducting audits, identifying findings, and contributing to the certification process related to the different certification schemes.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Document Review: Check customer management system documents, including manuals, procedures, instructions, files, records, and technical documents, to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  2. Audit Participation: Participate in and conduct audits, which involves conducting interviews, taking comprehensive notes, and evaluating the implementation of management systems.
  3. Audit Result Definition: Identify and define audit results (Positive and negative findings as non-conformities, opportunity of improvement).
  4. Technical Review: Carry out a technical review of audit files, providing insights and recommendations for certification decisions.
  5. Skill Maintenance: Keep skills, qualifications, and certifications up to date by staying informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  6. Data Management: Maintain updated records of customer data and other information relevant to the audit process.
  7. Customer Focus: Demonstrate a strong customer focus by understanding and responding to customer requests and needs. Strive for high customer satisfaction by ensuring the quality and effectiveness of audit activities.

What are we looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science).
  2. 1-2 years of experience in auditing or a related field.
  3. Auditor certification for relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) is preferred but not mandatory.
  4. Basic understanding of non-food certification standards and regulatory requirements.
  5. Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Willingness to travel for on-site audits.
  8. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
