An established industry player is seeking a Clinical Research Associate to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice and regulatory standards in clinical trials. This role involves coordinating site monitoring, conducting training, and supporting study start-up activities. The ideal candidate will have a higher education degree, 2-5 years of clinical trial experience, and fluency in English and Spanish. Your Responsibilities:
  1. Work on assigned studies to ensure that human subject protection is maintained, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulations are followed.
  2. Coordinate and manage clinical site monitoring responsibilities for assigned studies in accordance with contractual agreements, SOPs, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  3. Conduct on-site and remote site qualification, site initiation, interim, and site close-out monitoring visits.
  4. Serve as primary point of contact for site questions relating to study enrollment, conduct, and close-out issues; liaise with appropriate study team members as needed.
  5. Communicate through verbal and written communication with site investigator and project team overall site performance, trends, deficiencies, and concerns.
  6. Support study start-up activities such as tracking and performing quality review of study documents, completing, and distributing site activation letters, etc.
  7. Perform study-related training.
  8. Manage the development and maintenance of study documents, processes, and systems as assigned.
  9. Ensure quality and completeness of central and site master files. Track and maintain required study documents, perform quality control review, manage renewals.
  10. Track study site and overall study metrics including but not limited to enrollment, deviations, adverse events, trial master file maintenance.
  11. Attend internal and external meetings as required.
  12. Provide all job-related progress reports and visit documentation as required.
  13. May support safety activities such as narrative writing, managing the CEC / DSMB, etc.
  14. Prepare and coordinate submissions to regulatory authorities (OUS).
  15. Assess the suitability of potential investigative sites through screening interviews, regulatory document review, and evaluation of study information and provide input to the site selection process.
  16. Assist with the coordination of the site budget and contract negotiations as directed by the project lead(s).
  17. Assist in preparing sites for audits and in resolving audit action items.
  18. Support sites during audits remotely and/or onsite as needed.
  19. Participate in meetings with prospective clients.
  20. Support training and mentoring of CRAs during remote and onsite visits.
  21. Manage the development and/or maintenance of study monitoring plan, templates, trackers, study tools, and site-specific documents.
  22. Assist Clinical Study Manager (CSM) with development of human clinical protocol, investigational plan/brochure, SIV training presentations, and study operations development.
  23. Support Core Laboratory management and may serve as the primary contact.
  24. Support data management in CRF development, validation rules, UAT, review data and identify trends, and other reporting/analysis tasks.
  25. Perform and summarize literature searches.
  26. Register trials on Clinicaltrials.gov.
Working Conditions:

Up to 20% travel for In-House Clinical Research Associates; up to 80% travel for Field Clinical Research Associates.

Fluency in English and Spanish language; French or Italian would be a big plus.

Higher education degree.

Preferred 2-5 years clinical trial experience.

Ideally 1 year device trial experience.
