We are expanding our teams in the Aerospace sector to lead the design, development, validation and qualification of robotic, electromechanical and fluid systems for space.

As part of our team, you will be able to take the technical lead on space robotics projects, particularly those relating to ISAM, satellite capture, ADR, refuelling and in-orbit manipulation. You will be involved in defining requirements and interfaces, coordinating the various engineering analyses, leading the design of mechanisms and electromechanical equipment, and supervising their manufacture and qualification.
You will also be responsible for testing and validation: preparing test campaigns, analysing results, managing issues and non-conformities, and ensuring that the equipment meets the requirements. Furthermore, you will coordinate other engineers, suppliers and partners and act as the technical point of contact with clients, including the ESA.
For this role, we are seeking industrial, aeronautical or related engineers, with a background in mechanical or electronic engineering and extensive experience in systems engineering within the ESA/ECSS framework, as well as technical leadership of teams or complex hardware development projects. Experience in mechanical, fluid, materials and manufacturing design and analysis.
Knowledge of the space project development cycle and of ESA processes and the ECSS regulations applicable to the design, verification, qualification and acceptance of equipment, as well as knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in CAD tools and structural, thermal or dynamic analysis software.
Specific experience in ISAM (In-Orbit Servicing, Assembly & Manufacturing), ADR (Active Debris Removal), refuelling, satellite capture or in-orbit handling and assembly would be an advantage.
