This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile senior engineer to support the Galileo project management. Galileo is Europe's Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), the EU's flagship programme, funded and owned by the EU, providing accurate positioning and timing information.

CETRA BASE is currently seeking senior profiles with experience in project management to join our Engineering team.

The position is based in San Martín de la Vega, Madrid.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The tasks encompass the following activities :

1. Definition, review, and maintenance of the baseline applicable to sites infrastructure. Contribution to the management and analysis of key performance indicators and risks related to site management, including activity reports in site hosting service progress meetings;
2. Providing technical support to CCBs, ARBs, site coordination schedule/action planning;
3. Organization and participation in site-related milestones, including site surveys and acceptance processes. Support EUSPA as a reviewing entity (e.g., issuing RIDs on data-packs) or as a reviewed entity (e.g., preparing and executing site verification plans and producing data-pack documents). Contribution to the preparation and implementation of hosting infrastructure, storage, and configuration changes, including ICD documentation and physical adaptations, such as possible installation of CFIs.

Essential qualifications and experience:

• University degree in Industrial Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in project management
• Excellent team worker
• Ability to work in a multicultural team
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Eligible for security clearance
• Availability to travel within Europe

Security:

In line with the security requirements of the project, the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union member state. This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
