Job Description:

This is an external temporary opportunity to join a diverse and dynamic Industrialization Team within Operations focused on:

In the industrialization department, our mission is to ensure the availability of technical/digital means needed to execute manufacturing and testing processes for Space Electronic equipment with excellent performance.

Our work is based on trust, collaboration, cooperation, autonomy, accountability, and flexibility. Our activities support various Space business sectors, such as:

- Launchers
- Earth Exploration (Copernicus)
- Space Exploration (Artemis)
- Commercial Satellites (Telecommunications)

We seek candidates who share our values and want to make a significant impact on the Space Electronic business by increasing agility, speed, and innovation.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  1. Define, specify, implement, and support industrial means according to process requirements and ergonomic standards, focusing on spacecraft equipment automatic production lines.
  2. Manage and monitor contractual relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and with quality standards.
  3. Lead industrial perspectives on design for manufacturing processes in collaboration with Engineering.
  4. Define automation processes, machine programming, and maintenance strategy roadmaps.
  5. Specify digitalization requirements for industrial means aligned with the production tool suite.
  6. Provide support and troubleshooting on the shop floor at the industrial means level.
  7. Challenge and improve manufacturing methods and processes, implementing best practices based on Quality, Cost, and Time.
  8. Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives based on production feedback, including Kaizen, PPS, and defining industrial means requirements.
  9. Participate in multifunctional teams for PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and KCs.
  10. Simulate scenarios and plan for production ramp-up.

Education & Background requirements

Higher Education (Bachelor's or Master's) in Aeronautic, Industrial, or Electronic Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience leading automation and machine programming projects in industrialization/improvement contexts (production and test systems, Lean, MES).
Digital mindset, including automation of tasks, scripting, and use of digital design tools and simulators.
Knowledge of electronic manufacturing and test processes is a plus.

Language skills required: English & Spanish.
