Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a qualified Spa Therapist to deliver massage, facial, and body treatments with a focus on guest satisfaction. The role is an operational spa position with a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays, working within a luxury hotel environment.

The ideal candidate will have professional aesthetics or massage training and a valid license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety across all treatment

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional massage, facial, and body treatments, ensuring the highest standards of care, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.

**About the Role**

As a **Spa Therapist**, you will act as an ambassador of the Hyatt brand, providing high‑quality spa treatments while creating a relaxing and welcoming environment for all guests.

This is an operational position with a **rotating schedule**, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to spa and hotel operational needs. You will work closely with the Spa team to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Performing massage, facial, and body treatments in accordance with established standards and guest expectations
• Delivering all treatments based on current licensure and professional guidelines
• Assessing guest needs and identifying any contraindications prior to treatments
• Ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction throughout the entire service experience
• Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and universal precautions
• Cleaning and disinfecting treatment rooms, tools, and equipment daily
• Maintaining excellent product knowledge and understanding ingredients and their benefits
• Recommending retail products and home care routines to guests
• Promoting additional treatments and spa services when appropriate
• Starting and finishing treatments on time, respecting scheduled appointments
• Keeping treatment rooms clean, organized, and prepared according to spa standards
• Recording client preferences, treatment notes, and maintaining guest history cards
• Informing management of product needs and stock shortages
• Attending team meetings and scheduled training sessions
• Reporting any incidents or guest concerns to management promptly
• Supporting overall spa operations and completing assigned side duties

• Professional training in aesthetics, massage, or body therapies
• Valid license or certification in massage/aesthetic therapies in accordance with regulations
• Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or luxury hotel environment is an asset
• Strong skills in massage, facial, and body treatments
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong service‑oriented mindset
• Ability to build trust and connect with guests
• Ability to explain treatments and recommend products in a professional manner
• Organized, dynamic, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Positive, energetic, and motivating attitude
• Professional appearance and discretion when dealing with clients
• Team player
• Flexible schedule (shift work, weekends, and public holidays)
• Spanish required; English is a plus
