A leading global player in the Food Manufacturing industry is seeking a seasoned Sourcing Director to lead strategic sourcing across critical categories such as Packaging and CAPEX. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of procurement experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in achieving operational efficiency and cost optimization in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Minimum 7+ years in sourcing/procurement with a focus on Packaging, CAPEX, Energy, and indirect expenses.
• Strong team leadership capabilities managing cross-functional teams across regions.
• Exceptional communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.

Our client, a leading global player in the Food Manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic

Sourcing Director

to spearhead the strategic sourcing efforts across key categories including Packaging, CAPEX, Energy, and Indirects.

Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the sourcing activities for packaging, CAPEX, energy, and indirect / general expenses. Foster strong partnerships with business leaders to drive procurement strategies. Develop and oversee a multi-disciplinary sourcing team of 7 direct reports. Oversee and improve supplier relationships, negotiations, and contract management, particularly for high-value spend. Communicate procurement strategies, risks, and performance updates to senior leadership and private equity stakeholders. Lead the development of a regional procurement team and support cross-functional collaboration with Operations, FS&Q, R&D, Supply Chain, and HR. Ensure continuous improvement and best practices within the procurement function.

Candidate Profile : Experience :

minimum 7+ years in sourcing / procurement, with a focus on Packaging, CAPEX, Energy, and general expenses / indirects. Industry Background :

Experience in the Food & Beverage sector is preferred, but candidates from other industries with relevant experience are also considered. Leadership Skills :

Strong team leadership capabilities and experience in managing cross-functional teams across multiple regions. Strategic Thinker :

Ability to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives and drive organizational change. Communicates

Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish (Spanish is a plus but not essential). Results-Driven :

A track record of driving cost optimization, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency. Flexibility :

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and PE-backed environment.
