Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe is seeking a System of Systems Concepts Design Engineer to contribute to the Future Concepts team, shaping the future of air power solutions. You will architect complex SoS systems, model with MBSE, and integrate legacy components within a multi-domain context.

The role requires strong English and Spanish fluency, a solid engineering background, and experience with architectural frameworks.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Computer Science or closely related field.
Minimum 5 years in systems engineering or architecture; SoS or complex enterprise architectures is a plus.
Familiar with architectural frameworks (e.g., UAF, DoDAF, MODAF) and modeling languages (SysML/UML).
Hands-on experience with tools such as Cameo.

Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Conceptualization of SoS architectures for multi-domain challenges.
Advanced Modeling & MBSE to create rigorous models and understand emergent behaviors.
Strategic Roadmapping for SoS technologies and architecture evolution.
Driving Reuse by designing scalable, reusable frameworks across the portfolio.
Analysis & Integration including interfaces, protocols, and data exchange.
Risk Management addressing performance, scalability, security, and resilience.
