Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe seeks a System of Systems Concepts Design Engineer to shape the future of Air Power solutions. You will contribute to conceptual design activities and integration of legacy systems within a broader SoS context, working on multi-domain architectures and reusable frameworks.

The role emphasizes MBSE, architectural frameworks, and cross-domain collaboration, with a focus on delivering robust, interoperable SoS solutions.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or architecture, including SoS or complex enterprise architectures.
Knowledge of architectural frameworks (UAF, DoDAF, MODAF) and modeling languages (SysML, UML), with hands-on experience using Cameo.
Strong understanding of defence systems, including their operational contexts, constraints, and regulatory requirements.
Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Conceptualization: Design and analysis of complex SoS architectures addressing multi-domain challenges.
Advanced Modeling & MBSE: Develop MBSE models to understand emergent behaviors of complex systems.
Strategic Roadmapping: Contribute to SoS roadmaps and technology strategies.
Driving Reusability: Create scalable, reusable frameworks for the entire portfolio.
