Job Description:

Our client is a leading global supplier of high-quality tools and wear parts for the metalworking industry. The company offers innovative solutions for precision machining of workpieces across various industries. The role of a Solutions Engineer involves:

1. Managing customer-specific tool requests and developing customized quotations.
2. Generating conceptual drawings, considering technical and economic factors.
3. Handling small-scale projects independently.
4. Creating models and drawings.
5. Delivering presentations for proposed tool solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
6. Deciding between in-house manufacturing or outsourcing (make or buy).
7. Coordinating and monitoring delivery schedules, and updating technical databases.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and strong proficiency in German is essential.
• Background in mechanical engineering or as an engineering technician with relevant experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or NX is beneficial.
