Your role at Dynatrace

This team was established in the beginning of 2025 to address a high customer demand in the CX and UI improvement space. Team members will be responsible for building and scaling an effective growth-focused organization which will have influence throughout Dynatrace's 5000+ customer base. This role requires technical experience in front-end or UI engineering practices and the ability to drive sales opportunities as a specialist member of the core account team.

As a Dynatrace Digital Experience Monitoring - Solutions Engineer, you will be a key member of the Dynatrace sales engine and will be responsible for:

  1. Providing excellent technical support to customers evaluating Dynatrace’s solutions.
  2. Discovering new opportunities for DEM utilization within existing accounts, working to increase consumption by partnering with existing sales teams.
  3. Building scalable content for internal and external growing personal and company thought leadership.
  4. Leveraging customer feedback to influence product feature creation.

You will be an expert on Dynatrace and observability, with a specialization in Digital Experience Monitoring and Business Analytics. Within this exciting role, you will be responsible for executing great demos that demonstrate Dynatrace's unique approach in solving customer pain, executing and managing POCs onsite and remote, building key relationships with Dynatrace’s customers, and completing RFIs & RFPs. You will also work across teams including Dynatrace’s software development teams, consulting services, and marketing.

About you: To ensure your success as a Solutions Engineer at Dynatrace, you need to be an ambitious, confident, and self-motivated individual, with previous experience delivering value for exceptional customer experience in a technical role, either for a company you worked at or in a Sales Engineering-like role. You need to be passionate about innovative technology, technical sales, and articulating value to customers and prospects.

What will help you succeed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent education or experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience within the digital experience monitoring space with tools such as Catchpoint, GlassBox, Quantum Metric, Full Story, Blue Triangle, ContentSquare, AppDynamics, DataDog, and New Relic.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with instrumenting, configuring, and customizing real user monitoring agents for both web and mobile apps.
  • Experience with leveraging query languages or business intelligence tools to extract performance and business answers from real user monitoring data.
  • Advanced experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with session-replay tools.
  • Experience with mobile frameworks such as Cordova, Flutter, React Native, Xamarin, and .NET Maui.
  • Experience with tag management technologies such as Google Tag Manager and Adobe Experience Manager/Cloud.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with modern technologies like containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Serverless functions, and CI/CD pipelines.
