Solutions Architect

About You

You are a Solutions Architect with experience in digital agencies or consultancies. Your role is to guide clients toward valuable solutions.

You’ll work closely with developers, bridging the gap between customers and technical teams. You enjoy collaboration, solving challenges, and continuously improving processes.

We build Composable

We build composable solutions: modular, independent components (microservices) that communicate via APIs to allow flexibility, scalability, and easy integration, enabling seamless upgrades or replacements.

Your Day-to-Day at Novicell

1. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide practical solutions.
2. Define project requirements and scope with a focus on feasibility.
3. Lead technical workshops and ensure alignment between teams.
4. Oversee the technical delivery, ensuring efficiency and quality.
5. Collaborate with design and development teams to create functional websites.
6. Estimate project timelines and resources realistically.
7. Be ready to step in with hands-on development when needed.

Skills & Requirements

1. Experience working in agencies or consultancies.
2. Strong listening skills. Understanding both customer needs and internal technical/creative teams.
3. Excellent communication skills. Ability to brief technical and creative teams with sufficient detail while ensuring customer communication is clear and not overly technical.
4. Ability to translate and relate solutions from one business vertical to another.
5. A track record of learning from failures and sharing successes.
6. Enthusiasm for the internet and its evolving technologies.

Tech Stack and Architecture

Our development team works with the following tech stack. You must have experience in:

1. Excellent .NET Core / C# skills.
2. Working experience with any CMS (preferably Umbraco).
3. Experience with Azure cloud (Azure web apps, Blob storage).
4. Setting up and working with DevOps deployment pipelines.
5. Some experience with Docker containers is preferred.
6. Experience with modern search technologies (Elastic Cloud, Algolia, or others).
7. Composable Architecture: Knowledge in designing and implementing modular, interchangeable components for flexible and scalable systems.
8. Experience integrating various APIs and SaaS services.

1. Salary: Between 60.000€ and 70.000€, based on seniority and skills.
2. Permanent full-time contract.
3. Flexible remuneration with Cobee.
4. You can work from home or come to the office (we’d love that!). Living in Barcelona is a plus for social events but it's not mandatory. We have colleagues in Valencia, Sevilla, Málaga, and Tenerife. You're welcome as long as you are based in Spain and have a working permit.
5. 23 vacation days + 1 additional day off on your birthday (or any other day at your convenience).
