- Scale Customer Engagements: Empower and enable your team to influence customer decisions and secure technical wins by streamlining engagement processes and managing the flow of opportunities. Leverage deep knowledge of tools, programs, and processes to proactively orchestrate resources and resolve both technical and non-technical blockers engaging the right internal teams as needed. Anticipate recurring challenges, coach your team to recognize patterns, and drive resolution through local and global escalation channels. Demonstrate deep technical expertise in Security and Data Security architectures and solutions. Ensure consistency and quality by capturing, sharing, and reinforcing adherence to standards and best practices. - Scale Through Partners: Scale Through Partners: Maximise regional capacity and impact by enabling your team to expand and strengthen the partner ecosystem. Coach team members to identify capability gaps, grow strategic partnerships, and elevate Microsoft’s presence across the ecosystem. Proactively address escalations and remove blockers by collaborating with peer managers and cross-functional stakeholders. Support partner technical readiness by monitoring engagement quality, analysing partner performance, and identifying new opportunities to align with subsidiary strategy. Drive sustainable growth by fostering strong partner relationships and ensuring alignment with Microsoft’s AI Security priorities - Build Strategy: Build competitive knowledge of team; empowers team to influence compete strategies; coaches and provides support to team and across internal teams to define and execute strategy; identifies cross-workload strategy opportunities; maintains communications with internal partners; acts as subject matter expert on a particular competitive discipline; drives competitive strategy for local markets; works with local marketing teams to shape corporate domain messages and tailor to audience for the local markets. - Solution Design and Proof: Coaches team and oversees demonstrations of solutions based on multiple products and position solutions against competitors; coaches team to envision new and innovative solutions that use Microsoft technology to meet customer needs; supports team in coordinating with stakeholders to develop solutions for complex sales scenarios; ensures team capability to execute on those solutions - Readiness/Skilling: Enables and empowers team to develop technical expertise, provide insights to internal teams, and participate in high quality tech communities; acts as a technical thought leader by sharing best practices and regularly delivering content at Microsoft events; ensures team members participate in tech communities and drives feedback to improve overall team member experience. - Attracts, develops and retains talent: Supports mentorship, identifies growth opportunities, builds development plans with direct reports, and conducts development discussions. Qualifications (Text Only)
Minimum - Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field AND 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR - Strong and proven technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience Preferred - Strong and proven technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or related experience or equivalent experience. - Strong and proven experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management. - Strong People Management experience (including leading virtual teams). Technical Sales Leadership - Understanding of Microsoft Security solutions or related technology across the platform (Security and M365 E5 Compliance, Azure Security ACR). - Solid industry, technical, and professional knowledge and leadership skills to build credibility with customers. - Solid knowledge of reference architecture design across Security and Compliance to enable and empower team to influence customer decisions. - Provide though leadership on competitive landscape to coach team on Security solution positioning. - Ensure consistency and quality through Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology (MCEM) adherence in seller customer engagements. - Demonstrated capability of ensuring 100% technical close is initiated, managed and brought to closure. - Ensure compliance requirements for team are 100% met from presales to post sales.
