Kelvion is seeking a Solution Designer to identify and engage key consultants globally, shaping cooling solution concepts for data centres and supporting front-end sales in customer meetings.

The role requires thermodynamics expertise, international experience, and the ability to drive design developments with market insights and cross-functional teams. This position is based in a global manufacturing context and involves collaboration with engineering and sales partners.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, thermodynamics, heat management, or related field.
• Understanding of HTRI preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in thermodynamics.
• 1-2 years of experience in data centre market environment.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or products-based industry is highly desirable.
• Experience working in an international environment and managing teams.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Solution Designer will identify key consultants globally, understand market trends in cooling solutions for data centre, working out cooling solution concepts with key consultants and actively influence the design as well as support the front-end sales team in customer meetings. This role will serve as key partner between front end sales and the application engineering team, ensuring to build up relationship to key consultants and hyperscale and colocation customers and support developing customer centric cooling concepts for both, data hall cooling and heat rejection.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Identify key consultants globally and build up relationship.

• Understand market trends in cooling solutions.
• Work out cooling solution concepts with consultants and actively influence design concepts.
• Support quote / no quote decision process in alignment with front-end sales.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required Levels)

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, thermodynamics, heat management, or related field.
• Understanding of HTRI preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in thermodynamic and 1-2 years of experience in data centre market environment.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or products-based industry is highly desirable.
