Solution Architect - Supply Chain Management

Sibelco is a global material solutions company. We mine, process and sell industrial minerals at locations worldwide, focused primarily on silica, clays, feldspathics and olivine. We are also leaders in glass recycling. The Sibelco Group operates over 110 production sites in 31 countries, with a team of over 5,000 people.

The Solution Architect will design high-level solutions and provide expert advice and counsel to business management and IT project teams for complex systems and solutions to support project teams and develop business programs. The main focus will be on adaptation and maintenance of application systems.

This is a role; so, you can expect to be in the office two to three days a week as required and should live within a commuting distance to the office.

In the role of Solution Architect, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

• Provide analytical expertise to advise business management and IT project teams about systems of the most complex nature.
• Launch and execute business-oriented programs.
• Provide Level 3 support for solutions in run mode together with Solution Analysts.
• Review all RFI’s and RFP’s and check if they comply with the approved evaluation process, Sibelco principles and criteria to select suppliers that best fit the RFP.

To be successful in the role of Solution Architect, you have to :

• Master's degree in IT or equivalent through experience.
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Sibelco’s systems and processes : ERP (SAP), HR solution (Workday), CRM (Salesforce), Production reporting tool (MES), Planning tool (OMP+), Financial consolidation (Tagetik), BI (PowerBI, Azure BI).
• A self-motivated team player with a proactive approach, analytical and able to work independently.
• Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish are a must.
