Solution Architect Data Analytics

The Solution Architect for Data Analytics will be responsibility for the implementation of Data & Analytics solutions based on our modern data platform. The Solution Architect will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to translate business needs into robust data and analytics solutions, ensuring seamless data integration, governance, and analytics capabilities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

• Ownership of requirements management and conceptual design for new Data & Analytics solutions.
• Coordination of work packages and alignment with relevant business and technical stakeholders, as well as requirement owners.
• Applying the approved and established architecture guidelines for the overall architecture and the data Lakehouse.
• Contribution to Data Governance initiatives.
• Ensuring the implementation of relevant data security and privacy aspects, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
• Providing support and acting as the central point of contact for developed Data & Analytics solutions, including 2nd-level support for power users.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Active participation in shaping the Data & Analytics strategy.

CHALLENGES WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE ACTIVITY

• Ensuring the implementation of relevant data security and privacy aspects, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
• Staying current with and implementing the latest technologies in the rapidly evolving data Lakehouse and analytics landscape.
• Providing and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.
• Coordinating and communicating effectively to implement architectural principles and governance measures within data Lakehouse projects.

EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

Specialist knowledge, technical skills and experience

• Strong business (domain) knowledge.
• Solid understanding and experience of modern Data & Analytics technologies (e.g. Databricks) and data architecture (e.g. data Lakehouse, medallion architecture, etc.).
• Extensive experience with leading cloud platforms such as Azure, with a focus on leveraging their data services to optimize architecture and solutions.
• Basic knowledge of data management and Data Governance.
• Fundamental understanding of data security, privacy, and legal regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU Data Act).
• Demonstrated experience in agile ways of working, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams in iterative processes.
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Successfully completed Bacherlor‘s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration with Focus on Data and Analytic or comparable.
• 3-5 years of professional experience as “Solution Architect”, “Data Analyst”, “Requirement Engineer" or other data related Functions.
• Structured thinking and very good analytical skills.
